"Photography has taught me that moments are fleeting. No two pictures are ever the same: the light shifts, your subject moves and in case of people - well, let's just say you never really know what will happen next. Photography allows me to capture those fleeting moments and create memories - for my clients and for myself. For that I am eternally grateful."

Australian-born photographer Christine Krieg has travel running through her veins. She was hooked after flying over the Amazon while photographing mile-high Angel Falls in 1991. Since then she has photographed and written about many exotic and beautiful places including Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Australia and Borneo and of course California. She recently returned from living and traveling in Southeast Asia for a year where she documented stories for some NGO's doing work to improve the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. Christine loves to share her passion for the world we live in and her knowledge of photography with everyone she meets.

Her work has been published in newspapers, magazines and books. She created the principal photography for Cool Cuisine - Taking the Bite Out of Global Warming. Christine loves to share her passion for photography with everyone she meets. She leads workshops and classes in and around the Bay Area, runs a Meetup group focusing on Off-Camera Flash photography and has been a long-time guest instructor with Image Quest Tours. Christine is available for assignment work worldwide.
