MMMM!!! That milk is deeeelicious.
Twice a day the orangutan orphans (five at the time I visited in
October 2000) are fed bananas and milk. Visitors can watch (and
photograph) standing right next to them, but no touching is allowed.
Baby orangutans behave much like human toddlers: they'll stick their
entire head into the milk pan and love to make a mess!
