Stepping Out the Front Door

To me, photojournalism is anything I see and observe when I step outside the door - whether that is my front door at home or the front door of wherever I am staying while travelling. I move intuitively subject to the energies and emotions I feel present. My subjects are usually strangers and sometimes I interact with them, but never posing or directing. I feel I have succeeded when the ephemeral moment captured evokes emotions that linger both in memory and imagination.
