BERLIN

The first time I visited Berlin, I was 14 and living in southern Germany. "Die Mauer", the wall and the Cold War were real. In 2015 I spent the summer living in Berlin and discovered a cosmopolitan city full of surprises - the least of which was its bi-linguality. These are some of my impressions from the perspective of a "returning German" as well as feeling like a California native.
